I was running scf /scannow.

When i set a wallpaper by group policy, the image on desktop seen bad, but
if i set manually wallpaper desktop (by desktop properties)  it is seen well.
any idea, please

I got this weird message when I booted up on a black screen. It said to press
F1 tp continue. The thing is this is a desktop, not a laptop.

Well reformatting the Drive worked and XP is installed. Now comes the part
where I reinstall all the drivers. Does anyone know any good reliable drivers
that I should try? (Looking for ones that will let me here audio from music,
videos, games, etc...)

Firstly, is it possible to set up automatic updates (for Windows XP and/or

I am having trouble accessing some programs on my computer.  I keep

WinXP Pro SP2 with ALL updates/patches installed and NTFS file system.
Failed in system boot due to disk error. Booted from SP2 installation cd
and started the recovery console. Run chkdsk, found some errors and

Original is corrupt.

Analyze says I should defrag so I do and it gets to 13% compacting and then
says defrag complete.  I check analyze and it still says i should defrag.
I've done this numerous times with no better results.
How can i fix disk defragmenter?

If I RIP a CD I get a folder with the tracks on it. Beside that I get its
JPEG IMAGE files  (CD front/back picture) but they are difined as
SYSTEM/HIDDEN files.
Why ?? Is there a way to RIP these files as normal files (not  SYSTEM/HIDDEN
