Can't read CD25 Sep 2007 01:48 GMT7
I have XP SP2 with all the updates.  I have a data CD-R that was fine until
I copied a couple of files over to it.  Now Windows won't read it and says
there are 0 bytes used and free.  The CD is full though.  Is there anything
I can do to recover it?

Hi. Is there a way to highlight a window as the mouse moves over it, instead
of having to click somewhere to make it active? If I have 3 or 4 windows
open on the desktop I would like to use each one as I move the mouse,
instead of having to click on it first. I hope I explained ...

the majority of the suggestions.  So far nothing has worked. I did enter safe
mode and create a new admin account for me, but my ...

When I tried to do this, it took a look time in the retrieving

Which CD-keys are activated?24 Sep 2007 20:49 GMT2
I've inherited from the last IT manager a stack of Windows XP Pro
packets...large blue and orange folders with CD-Keys printed on the
inside (no sticker) and Version 2002 printed at the bottom right.  A
few have pc names hand-written on them, but the majority don't.  Does
Windows Recovery Console24 Sep 2007 20:34 GMT2
I installed Windows recovery console and the "cmdcons" directory is there and
there is an entry for the recovery console in the boot.ini file.  After

Windows XP or to the recovery console.  However, it ...
What is real truth behind power saving options24 Sep 2007 19:23 GMT12
I work in a number of schools and I'm constantly having to turn off every

Terminal Services service and Windows Security Alerts24 Sep 2007 19:12 GMT7
Does anybody have any experience with Windows Security Alerts (the red
