I been reading alot of stuff on the google search engines about the CPU's of
Windows user getting hogged to the 95 - 100 percent.
I been noticing my CPU goes to that 100 percent alot whether I use Explorer
or Firefox surfing websites with flash objects, and even worse if its java

I had 2 partitions on my PC but I recently deleted a partition then re-
allocated the space to make 1 partition. The problem I have is that I
had iTunes installed on the deleted partition and now I can't
uninstall or re-install it. When I try to do either operation i get

A.  I'm trying to use Task Manager in XP to identify programs that may

Perhaps previously I was not clear or was too verbose, so I'm re-posting this

When my system comes out of standby, the monitor screen doesn't come on.

I ran an on line housecall scan and scan selected folders for malware.The
result are asfollows:-

when I click on START | SHUT DOWN. THe Shut Down Windows dialog appears and
the only option is to log of username. The workstations are on a server 2003
Network. Yesterday 3 systems had the problem . Today about 10 have the

Got a brand new laptop running WinXP Pro SP2.
Set it up to access a wireless network (no encryption - MAC control) in the
office and one at home (128bit WEP - no MAC control).
All done through WinXP's wireless part of the wireless network connection.

Something to think about if for future computer problems.   I recently did a
repair/install of WinXP SP2 and had to then install about 80 further
upgrades again.  Then upgrade Internet Explorer from version 6.0 to 7.0.
Everything seemed to work OK but my printer was screwing up.  ...

I installed then uninstalled a zip utlity (Power Archiver).
Now I don't see an option to create a compressed folder when I right click
on new.
I made a new file type .ZIP and it shows "compressed folder", but I still

several problems i'm experiencing. for starters, this computer is
running multiple accounts, each account seems different in a bad way.
one account is utterly perfect while the rest suffer from odd
disorders. they are varied but all but that one account share the same
