Using XP SP2, IE7. I subscribe to groups on several news servers that are extraneous to the news server run by my ISP, including msnews.microsoft.com. Every post I make to groups on these servers leaves my Outbox almost instantaneously, EXCEPT

I've got a user who was my last user using windows 2000 SP4. She finally let me upgrade her to Windows XP. This user has the most unique desktop settings I've ever seen she likes everything VERY LARGE. Anyways I'm trying to mimic her display settings in XP SP2 to be just like

I have been backing and restoring my disk partitions using disk imaging utilities. Is there a way to check the integrity of the whole disk including the partitions? Chkdks only checks within a partition as far as I can tell and is therefore not good enough.

When I try to add sites to the trusted sites in Internet Options, a message is displayed that "sites added to this zone must use the https:// prefix." But adding the prefix produces the same result. Is there a way to correct this.

The most curious thing; using Vista Ultimate I burned a 6GB file to a DVD+R DL. In Vista's 'Burn a Disc' 'Prepare this blank disc' window I chose 'Mastered - Readable on all computers and some CD/DVD players.
