I have BT broadband using a Voyager 2091 router. Whilst I am able to comnnect
to the internet OK the internet connection icon no longer appears in the
control panel or down on the notification area. It used to dissapear
periodically but generally came back if the router was reset ...

I seem to have lost my ability to share folders. Any file or folder that I
try and share out results in a stop & the following error message:
"An error occurred while trying to share <file or folder name>. The data is
invalid. The shared resource was not created at this time."

I've read a lot about the virtues of Acronis on this newsgroup. However,
people continually talk about IMAGING as a backup. I don't want to do
that.
Can Acronis use a completely different size hard drive to simply backup

Rosetta Stone gives an image using Quictime.  You can not cut and
paste this(as far as I know)

My dllcache folder which was full of items all of a sudden is blank. Have
folders set to show hidden files etc. Try to "run" dllcache & it comes up
with the same empty folder. Any ideas on where all this stuff disappeared to
& how I can get them back?  TIA Gimpy.

I just recently installed Windows XP Home Edition on my new computer, using
the same disk as I used on the old comp. Trouble is, for some reason Windows
firewall doesn't show up under Control Panel on the new comp. I switched to

the answer.  The IE7 icon is *not* on my desktop, which is good.  It's in my
Quick Launch toolbar where I want it.  However it *is* in my Desktop Toolbar.

Friend is running XP Home. Very slow getting to desktop. I've
gone into System Config Utility via msconfig.  Under Startup, there are many
programs but only one checked. Even tho unchecked, will the programs listed
affect

I turn the computer off b-4 I go to bed and when I come home from work the
next  day the computer is on.

I have RC installed as a BOOT.INI option.  If I boot RC and try to copy a
file from C:\ to a floppy disk it says ACCESS DENIED.
Is that how it is supposed to be or is there something I'm not doing right?
If it is that way by design, can anybody explain to me why it's that way ?

For the last few weeks, I switch the computer off in the evening but I
frequently find its on in the morning.  Does not always happen but most
days.  On looking at the duration time on my local area connection this
