I added a second HDD, setup everything properly, slved the extra drive, it is visible in the BIOS, but once in windows I cannot get it to read. Now this HDD was from a friends computer simply trying to recover data, are there any other tricks to try?

I have an interesting problem. Somehow I have lost the control panel, how can I regain gain access? I am running Windows XP Professional and a few days ago, the control panel was on my “Start” button.

Awhile back I created several documents in wordpad and created a new folder for them in my documents. I no longer needed them, so I recently deleted the folder. They are still showing in wordpad in the file dropdown. How do I delete them from there?

What is the maximum file size one can generate writing to a RAID 10 volume? I am creating an AVI file by recording video and recording seems to fail consistently at around 510 GB. My total storage space is 1TB.

About 75% of the time, the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon tells me that I cannot remove my USB drives. No programs are open, so nothing should be accessing the drive. I wait a while (sometimes 30 minutes or more) and still I cannot safely remove the drive. This happens on a number ...

trying to copy users pst's to network drive and getting this error after 20 or so minutes. deleted as many emails as possible and ran scanpst and compression. pst still at about 1.1G so that probably has something to do with it. please advise. thx.

i see on EVENT log that there are 2 process called HPZ12 ( a driver o .exe for HP company but what is and to do ?) event id : 7035 open and id:7036 close
