Is it true with WindowsXP that the switching to different user logins without closing the applications is possible only for standalone machine, and not for any machine that is part of a Network? I do not understand why such a restriction exists. Can anybody clarify/

I have a disk drive with a damaged OS. When I mount it as a second drive XP thinks it is a RAW drive. TestDrive can tell its NTFS. What free tools are there out there that will allow me to copy data to another drive ? thanks

Despite having Firefox set as the default browser, when I click a web link within an email, nothing happens, i.e. the link is not launched in Firefox. The problem is not unique to just to emails in Outlook, it doesn't launch web link from any other programs.

Every time I start a friends XP Home SP2 machine, it says that it can not create the pagefile. I have checked the security settings of the C drive, and it appears to be ok. have changed some of the security settings for the page file and it did not resolve the issue.
