I'm having problems using DDE to open another .txt file in an already
running editor.
System is Windows XP Pro SP2 with all available updates.
On one PC, this works as expected:

Can't figure this one out...I have a new sata (Maxtor 500) in my box...I
have W2000 installed on the primary IDE drive.  Trying to install XP on my
new Sata...can get it to format via setup...and have the sata drives floppy
available...but...it has frozen during install 6 times !

My Presario laptop runs on Win XP.  Occasionally I would like to boot up to
DOS6.2 from my CD-ROM which is the first BIOS selected boot device, then hard
drive C: (note, my Compaq Presario V2000 laptop does not have a floppy drive
or parallel port).  I have a set of 3 floppy disc ...

Does the 'print screen' command (button on keyboard) still put the image in
the clipboard for subsequent paste?

I have an XP Pro machine that has no service pack whatsoever installed.
Whenever I attempt to install SP1 or SP2, I get an error "an internal error
has occurred" and the install fails. I have removed some spyware/adware, and
I wonder if maybe that damaged the system somehow.

I accidentally deleted the aquarium skin from Media Player and would like to
know how to get it back.   I thought that by clicking the RED X that it would
just remove the skin from the current view and not remove it completely from
the program.  But it is now gone.

When I start up my computer, I always get a message in the BIOS system that
says:
Passwords have been cleared
Set switch to Clear Password to open before rebooting.

I need help. I could not access to my D drive (encrypted data) after

Everytime I start my computer, I get a message that says:
Passwords have been cleared!
Set switch Clear Password to open position before rebooting!
The only way past this is to push F1 each and everytime I start the computer.
