I’m trying to upgrade a Gateway computer with Win98SE to WinXP Home. The upgrade will only run a short time and I get a blue screen error that the program can not read the CD. I have tried the upgrade several times with the same result.

On a new pc running Win XP pro, with all current updates, the computer freezes on trying to use the new keyboard in an application. Tested on IE and Notepad with the same outcome. On start up everything seems to be normal, mouse is responding, etc.
