An application named NDIS User mode I/O  Driver (file name ndisuio.sys) has

Copying folder 1 files --> folder 2
Folder 1 contains, say, 5000 files.
Folder 2 contains, say, 4000 files, many the same as the ones in folder 1.

I have 4 partitions on my HD, all are type NTFS, and no space in between
them.
The first record in the partition table points to the first partition,
second record points to the second partition, etc.

I've got an old HD with Win XP Pro on it, and I'm wondering how easy
it would be to just take a hard drive out of a new laptop with Vista
on it and replace it with the HD with Win XP on it?  Are there any
likely issues that will come up and be a major problem?

Saturday morning I turned on my laptop as usual, but very shortly after

a log of any problems that may have been found and fixed?

Today, I opened a folder which contains 6 jpeg images. I am viewing in
Thumbnail view. The images are there, all is fine, except the filename does
not show in the window.
Every other view is fine.

I have IE Version 7.0.5730.11 and am getting frequent crashes on my Dell
Inspiron E1705 laptop.  The crashes don't give me any clue as the problem and
the event viewer does not register the error.  Any ideas on how I can
diagnose this?

like to abort it. How do I do that? Neither ctrl-c nor ESC respond.

I got 2 computers a home. pcA uses winXPpro+sp2, pcB uses win2k3
These 2 computers are connected to each other via a router.
I've created a Active Directory on the win2k3 computer, and now I wants the
winXP box to join the AD.

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to set up a Shortcut
(.lnk) to a program or batch script that will solicit the
user for command line arguments?  With the old (16-bit?) PIF
mechanism, a "?" on the "Cmd line:" tells the PIF to open
