When I go to My Pics folder and select send photo via email, the Microsoft
Passport sign-on screen comes up instead of Outlook mail box. Does anyone
know how to reset this option so the Outlook mail box opens so I can send the

I know how to make my screensaver so it's password protected on resume.  The
problem is that when the screensaver is disturbed, it shows my wallpaper in
the background before the password is put in instead of whatever the top
window is.  Since my wallpapers aren't always family ...

i left home for 30 days over xmas dutin which time the computer was shot-off,
and when i returned all my system restore points were gone;  in fact the
calendar will not even go back beyond the curent month (Jan 2008).....any

First, let me thank all of you who help those of us not as computer savvy,
keep our machines running. I know it has saved me major bucks not having to
run to a computer repair place every time I have a problem. Now with that

Anyone have any experience/recommendations for a PC time use monitor?  I'm
looking for something to control the amount of time a grandson spends
playing games.  He is fairly knowledgable and has admin rights to his XP Pro

Got a little cahhlenge. My machine that has Win XP Pro SP2 can not copy
relatively large files to completion over the network (TCP/IP). The copy
starts and goes to a significant extent before bombing out (eish!!!) I belive

Does any one know how to get rid of McAfee Virus scanner off a
computer? Or, is it worth paying for the licenses renewal...

A desktop shortcut which used to open a folder and files now goes to
the 'search' function.
How can I revert to the folder and file listing?

This just started happening after I removed an ftp site from my network
places. Using the search companion to search shared drives on the network
always went smoothly before but now as soon as Search is clicked and the next
pane appears the pane freezes for about 5-10 seconds ...

How can I restore my PC to original configuration when PC was purchased.  
Can't find my XP win. disk yet.  Is there a method that will not delete the
installed windows but restore PC to all original settings?
