When I right click Start button, choose either Explore, Open, Explore All
Users, or Open All Users, nothing happens. The items are not greyed-out.
However, if I right click My Computer and select Open or Explore, it works.
Any idea how I can fix this?

I have files/folders that aren't showing up in Windows Explorer, however when
I type the exact path in the Address Bar, the folders or files appear and I
can access them without problem.
What??

After going through alot of message boards out there & umpteen 'fixes', can
anyone tell me the easiest fix for this?

I am unable to shutdown in normal mode. Able to do that in safe mode. tried
the following:
1. creating a new user account
2. shutdown -f and all possible switches

I was trying to play a game and when said game started up my computer froze
and eventually rebooted. However, it would only go into Safe Mode. Normal
Mode just fails to boot and the computer goes into Safe Mode. Tried System
Restore but doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm running XP Home on my laptop.
I have suddenly lost all trace of my calculator. I use this quit a bit and
even had an icon on the taskbar, but even this has disappeared, leaving just
the default icon that leads nowhere.

I am running Windows XP Pro SP2.  I have noticed that an increasing number
of filenames in Explorer have changed color to dark blue.  Anyone know why
this is happening?  Thanks.

I am having a problem with my task pane...it has disappeared from all of my
folders.  Instead, there is now a bar with the task options below the
toolbars.  I have tried to reset under folder options to no avail. I just
want my task panels back! please and thanks

I just reinstalled windows xp pro from my sony recovery dvd.  I also
reinstalled Office 2003 from my original CD.  When I open any office program
and look under activate, I click on it, but it seems to do nothing.  I
thought I'd have to activate Office again, or if it activated ...

for a second HDD.
