I have one hard drive partitioned into volumes C, D, E, and F
Running chkdsk on any volume exceot C always shows no errors.
If I run chkdsk on C I get different results every time I run it even
running it back to back with no other apps running.  On rare occasions it

My computer has been working fine for the longest time and uploading videos
from the camera was never a problem.
Then an External HD was purchased and connected via firewire port.
The card has 3 jacks so I assume just use one for the camera and one for the

Sometimes, my laptop will boot with 4 or 5 beeps. When I get into any
software, the screen will cycle through all the buttons and the dtat scetion
will scroll down, then back to the top. This also happens with Internet

I have a Windows XP Laptop that when you go start, shutdown nothing happens
for about 10-15 mins then the dialog appears.

Have been asked to look into getting a hard drive for my office but don't
really know what to look for.  The office has mainly word documents and is
very small with only one computer.  Can anyone let me know how much gb to
look for for instance??

I have downloaded Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 SP1 from microsoft.com.
The download is completed successful but when I install it in my PC I
saw it says the word "downloading..." during installation is

I am new to XP, but the Backup prgm that comes with it seem to do everything
that an image would do.
"Backup" can back up the registry, system files, etc.
Is it about the same as an Image?
