I'm an everyday user of Windows XP doing everyday tasks.  I don't program or
know how to program.  I continue to receive updates for the subject software
and I'm curious to know why I need this or do I need this and if not can it
be removed and free up my PC?  I can't seem to ...

I have an existing machine that I am  using it is running windows xp.
I need to build a machine and they want the operating system on the C: drive
and the profiles on the D: drive.
I am want to set it up so when they logon there profiles are already saved

I started using the XP screensaver using my 'my pictures' folder. Now as
soon as the screen saver comes on and I try and use the PC I've been logged
off. How can I stop it logging me off?

Ok folks...I am at a loss here.  Everyday at about 2:30pm, one of my client
desktops slows downs to a snails pace and then randomly disconnects from the
Windows 2000 server.  The only cure is to re-boot.  Log-off/log-on sometimes
fixes it but it seems to be best to fully shutdown ...

My OS is XP Pro on both computers.  Comp1 will not read any floppy disk; it
does not see the disk in the drive and commands "insert disk." when I click
on floppy drive A in My Computer.  I should note that some time ago, these
disks were read by comp1 and it operated properly.
