Here are some details on what I'm doing now, then I'll explain what I'm

Is there a way to determine WHEN a program was installed (in Windows
XP Pro). I have a user who keeps re-installing a program they're not
allowed to use at our office and I need to document it.

It seems that wnodws will only let me make dynamic disks (RAID 1) on
internal drives. I don't have spacew internally. Does anyone know how
to get mirror RAID in software on XP?

When I first reboot my XP Pro SP2 system, everything works as I would
expect.  But after a while, something changes so that launching one tool
from another starts to take a VERY long time.
Examples:
