Is there a way to determine WHEN a program was installed (in Windows XP Pro). I have a user who keeps re-installing a program they're not allowed to use at our office and I need to document it.

It seems that wnodws will only let me make dynamic disks (RAID 1) on internal drives. I don't have spacew internally. Does anyone know how to get mirror RAID in software on XP? Thanks in advance.

When I first reboot my XP Pro SP2 system, everything works as I would expect. But after a while, something changes so that launching one tool from another starts to take a VERY long time. Examples:

We use a pc with Windows Xp as a server. Sometimes we can't logon because there are too many connections. When we look in the server at Session there are most of the time some sessions which should already have been removed. They are stuck.

On the Power Options menu I can arrange to 'Turn off Hard Disk' after x minutes, and can also (or is this an alternative?) start 'Stand By' after x minutes. I believe that if during 'turning-off' or 'standing-by there is a power cut
