My XP Pro SP2 system comes to a grinding halt every time a CD or
DVD is inserted.   Whatever's running at the time just stops for
5 seconds or so while the drive spins up and the disc is
recognized.

I have Outlook 2007 installed on 3 computers on my home LAN. One install is on
my desktop PC. Another install is on our laptop which is used by all members in

I'm getting applications errors every so often while my computer shuts down
referencing a a function that could not read the memory, something sort of

When I connect Hard Disk External to Windows XP PC with USB port, it
has shown the Hard Disk is detected but it doesn't show the letter as
a removeable drive (E:) in Window Explorer.

I finished a course in Microsoft Word a while back, and I would like to
know if Microsoft Word can be bought and downloaded anywhere by itself,
or at least bundled in a package with Microsoft Excel. It seems I can
only find Word as part of the Microsoft Office package. I don't want
