Some Fonts Deleted19 Jan 2008 13:50 GMT1
My eight year had deleted some fonts.  When an information bar comes up I
cannot read them. Windows was installed on computer when bought so I do not
have disc. Anyone have suggestions?   Thanks

I have had a system crash on running chkdisk on my Windows XP Home computer
it as left me with no control of the Printer Properties or Printer
Preferences
can any one help me get them back

I've been trying to figure this one out with no luck.  I did find out how to
go into the DOS panel, close Explorer and delete it that way, but I want this
to stop!!
I do a lot of mods with my train-sim and flight sim, and I download repaints

I've 2 accounts on my computer : "Administrator" & "Me", both with
linked to Administrators group.
I've configured Windows XP SP2 when I've installed it to autologon
with account "Me".

I have been doing some repartitioning and adjusting sizes of partitions and
the result is confusion in my windows explorer drive letters. My main drive
still appears as C. I also use a second volume within an extended partition,
which I have assigned as drive D in disk management ...

A friend received a laptop with xp pro installed.  She has a guest
account with a known password.  She does not know the admin account
name or password.  Because she is not an admin, she is not able to do
much with it.

I am trying to copy a DVD on my Roxio Disc Copier (Roxio Easy Media
Ceator 7) on my XP Home laptop.
I am getting the message:
'There was a problem creating a file  c\docume~1\owner\locals~1\temp\"

My computer was working fine and then later in the day I tried to connect to
the Internet I was unable to.  I looked at my IP config and all of the IP
addresses are 0.0.0.0. (IP Address/Subnet Mask and Default Gateway - has no
reading).

I have WinXP Professional SP-2. Where can you find the results of the chkdsk
/f when I run it?  I cannot find any log created & can't find it in the
knowledge base.

My father bought his winXP computer (Dell) about a year ago. He was real
impressed with the “Slide Show” program, and used it all the time. But now he
tells me he can’t find it anymore. Can’t use it.

Does somebody know what part of Windows xp creates the ~df****.tmp files in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp?
Every time I start or restart the pc a new ~df****.tmp file is created
The files are 131.072 bytes and the last one cannot be deleted.

Well it starts like this, when I go to a search engine i.e.: www.yahoo.com 
and I type a search it gives me a list of results, when I click on any of
those results it redirects me to another site usually garbage, now I have
norton and spy sweeper and it doesn't seem to find any ...

I think that AVG has removed my copy of SmitFraudFix.
Any ideas if it has been throwing false positives over the last few weeks?
My computer seems to be working OK. I am not sure if it has slowed down or
whether the servers I am browsing are busy when I go there. (It isn't too bad
