Whenever I click on the favorites tab on my toolbar I have just about every file and program, plus my internet sites on it. It never used to be like that and I want just the websites. How can I fix this?

I installed a LiteOn DVD combo ROM in my computer. I installed the software that came with it and everything works fine except for NO sound on DVD playback. Do I have to order any thing else for this to work?
