I have recently installed Win XP. And after installation for once it worked
nice.But next time when I started the machine Win XP is not loaded and it
remain frozen only displaying WinXp start-up screen.I have again formate the
C: drive and reloaded Win Xp.But same story repeats ...

Is there any way of turning off the Windows "I'm on" music?  
I know I can mute the speakers, but that mutes everything - including the
'low battery' chime on my laptop.  I just want to turn off the Windows intro'
music, as it annoys me to hear it every single morning!

I keep getting this pop up from starbond or something like that my security
spyware says it is safe i don't like the picture it shows it is not
completley nuditdy but the pictures are not appropriate for me how can i pin
point target of that pop up and block it permanently

Can I add files to a CD I just burned with the built in CD burner of

I've got a file whose "Date" appears to be "01-01-1980 00:00" and which was

I have a program that I want to run at start up but not show in the task bar,
if possible, like maybe run in the tray in the lower right hand corner (where
the clock is). Is this possible.
I am pretty sure there is a way to add and remove things from the tray.

When I choose ClearType, some letters like "l" (ell) "i" (iee) and other
vertical parts of some letters are RED in color. Similarly, there are some
letters in GREEN. But RED is more prominent.

I'm running XP Home & IE6 died today. Can't access anything - either typing
or favorite. I know I'm connected because I'm also running FireFox - have
been & have had no problems. Both were running fine until today. IE "can't
