For some reason, the toolbars on IE, OE and even Firefox have changed to a
darker color.  I went so far as to do a compete restore back to October and
shortly after restoring my mail the taskbars changed to the darker color
again.  It sort of tan, not beige.  I am completely unable ...

I've got a weird problem here. My Windows XP suddenly doesn't recognize
my USB sticks anymore (although my USB mouse and cam still work fine)!?
They work without a problem on other PCs though ...
Any ideas why this happened and how I can resolve this problem??

I wonder if anybody can help as all of a sudden my sound has gone and all I
get are beeps from the tower when error messages appear. There doesn't seem

You may know that if you disable non-existing IDE drives(device
manager -> ide/atapi controllers-> primary or secondary channel-
>advanced settings) "device type" from "auto detect" to "none", the XP
startup time takes almost 1/2 less than it was set to "auto detect".
