i have tried everything to uninstall windows xp from another computer and nothing works. i tried dos and i was unsuccessful. a copycat was installed on this computer and i can't uninstall it. i want to put a genuine copy on it and it seems nearly impossible.

At the bottom of the screen, over the icons next to the clock, there are "information bubbles" that occasionally show up.. But mine do not show up, like "27 days until activation"..I get the sound, but the bubbles do not show up. Does anyone know how to fix this? Using XP SP 2

Just want to post this for folks who have problems with MCE not entering standby automatically. Check your print job queues... both for printers or for any of the virtual printers (like Adobe Acrobat etc). For the past few weeks MCE would not go into Standby automatically

When I installed Win xp English on my Japanese Toshiba laptop, it installed the keyboard as a 101/102 button standard keyboard when in fact it has a 106/109 button Japanese keyboard. How can I fix this issue? It&s not a matter of region/language settings.
