I'd love to find a little app that, by default, made a gentle sound on
the hour and half hour as a reminder to me so I can look at a real
clock.  Pop-ups and no-sound, pop-up only and the ability to turn it
off at night are extras.

Monitoring CPU load relative to max capacity for a variable-speed12 Jan 2008 02:17 GMT4
So, I have this Athlon 64 that throttles back its clock speed when its full

even under a pretty constant load. The CPU utilization—based on the clock
speed at a given moment—then bounces around ...

I bought a Microsoft Wired Keyboard 500v1.0 a week ago.  It's been working
fine.  Tonight I logged off my machine, and went to reboot.  I selected the
option to Install Updates and Restart (Automatic Updates).  There were three
updates pending and they all apparently installed.

Hi, we have a lab of computers where a number of users can use each computer

What we want to make happen is that when any of those users logs on to any
