My desktop has Win XP sp3, I'm using a USB wireless adapter to my Linksys
router. I want to home network with my new notebook, Vista Home Premium Sp1
64-Bit. All seems to go well until I try to access 'My Network places' and

When I try to open a web page it will occasionally open withoput any problem
but often it just takes ages with the little circle in the toolbar indicating
it is waiting for the website to respond/and at the bottom it might say 1
item remaining. Sometimes it will take 5 or 6 ...

I keep getting "hook load failed" when I start computer.  I have scanned for
viruses & spyware. And I have used system retore to as far back as I can.
Any other ideas?

I thought you press F12 when you turn your computer on, however that isnt
working for me. What am I doing wrong?

Someone I work with does daily shipment confirmations using Access and
MS Fax Console.  Prior to a PC upgrade, they were using a Windows 98

I just reinstalled Windows XP on my Dell PC.
In my old setup I had established two network drives pointing to folders on
my PC. But when I open Windows Explorer and choose Tools/Map Network
Drive/Browse I can't navigate to any folders on my machine or my home network.
