I have an old pc that is not able to connect to a network, not this one I
hasten to add. Can I download the full XP Pro SP2 service pack from
anywhere, put on a data key, and update my old pc ?

Windows XP Home edition. I upgraded to SP3 and turned off automatic updates.
Now, EVERY time I turn on the computer, I log in and get that balloon saying
that my "computer may be at risk" because I don't have auto update turned on.
