I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with one of my PCs. After it runs for a couple of weeks, I have noticed that the left-click on a desktop icon brings up the properties page instead of running the program.

I just bought a copy of Windows XP Pro and installed it. I noticed that my screen saver doesn't come on after the set time and the odd time that it does, it stays on for less that a minute and then goes back to the desktop screen, or logon if I set a password.

When I rightclick on MyComputer, Manage, I cannot open it. I get that I don't have compmgmt.msc and have no access... I've searched my hdd and CD-ROM for that file, can't find it. Where can I download it ?
