I updated from XP SP2 to SP3 about a week ago.  I also run IE7 and AVG 8.0
and Windows Defender.
Not sure whether this is coincidence but Defender is now doing a daily quick
scan shortly after PC startup.  This is not scheduled by me - the schedule

I have WinXP with automatic updates.
My system sometimes suggests to install the updates directly on the fly.
But sometimes my system installs the updates at shutdown of the computer.
Why this is done in such a way?

After performing a system clean up, some of the Accessories were missing.  I
was able to get back most of them through Add/Remove Components; however, for
the GAMES, it's only bringing back Internet games but not the usual system
