Forgive this post if it is redundant but I think my last post was lost. I
did a clean install of SP3 (nLite integration) and was installing some
programs. I looked at my start menu and saw that it was becoming cluttered
so I right-clicked my mouse to sort the menu and nothing ...

I have been trying to set up SyncToy2 between my XPSP2 desktop and my Vista
Home Premium laptop. The results have been irregular at best. Is there a
problem of communication between the two systems? Is it possible to
synchronise the two computers with SyncToy2?

During booting of my XP Pro computer, the logon dialog box appears, asking
for a password. When my XP x64 computer boots, this dialog box never appears
but otherwise booting proceeds normally.
What controls whether or not the logon dialog box appears during booting?

I am not sure whether or not I set an administror's password when I
installed XP professional. I want it for accessing the Recovery Console. XP
won't boot so I can't use the Management Console. Is there a way around this
predicament?

Boot Hard disk does not show in Disk Management console but secondary drive
shows two drives for one hard disk. mount vol also shows duplicate guid.
Additionally, my event log viewer id had and event id called:12507.

Seemed to take forever for it to get going but it finally got to where
it says something like "checking registry" ot "modifying registry" at
