Hi Folks;
I'm using Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 3) on my laptop and I have an
interesting problem. When I start up and type in my password it fails every
time (even though it's correct).

i have what looks like a system folder stuck in the recycle bin.  the name is
a string of numbers and letters...46c30a etc...the bin icon shows trash is in
the bin, paper in the waste bin.  but exploring the bin reveals nothing.  
choosing empty recycle bin asks if i want to ...

When I click on the start  -> settings -> control panel,  the selection list
is in reverse alphabetical order.
How can I correct this?

I just got a new HP 4180 printer and I wasn't sure if I should have
the HP Digital Imaging Monitor startup every time.  I did notice that
I couldn't scan by pressing a button on the printer - I had to run
one of the HP programs that came with the printer.

Hi, all I have a Dell Dimension 8300 desktop computer. The problem is
that none of the USB ports seem to work anymore. Whether I plug in my
flash driver, a printer, etc, I don't get a message stating that new
hardware has been found, and the new hardware is not accessible.

Hi all..stress to the brain again...am having Win Xp Installed on

I have some users who can not install new flash memories in their pcs since
they work with Power User privilegies and Windows XP SP2 is requesting
administrator rights everytime they connect a new device.
It says "You must be a member of Administrators in order to connect..."

I've got an application that isn't starting up. The help forums for that App
say to uninstall using MS Installer Cleanup utility.
I downloaded the MS Installer Cleanup utility, and I now have a file named,
