After installing xp service pack 3 I get an error message on opening windows: "error: cannot open out bound object". There is not internet service nor netword connections either. The Network Connections box is blank. Anyone got an idea??

How do I configure a new installation of WinXP so that its file explorer will search for byte/char ASCII content in files with *.PAS, or other extensions of my choosing? I have configured it in the past, but now cannot remember or find out how. TIA, JohnH

Hi, my computer wouldnt start up, so i opened it to have a look, the took out all the drives (optical, Hdd), the ram, any sound / video cards, and then removed the fan on thr board, i took some pictures, and theres apprears to be a part of the board that burnt:

Some how my Wordpad now speaks Chinese. When I open, save, print etc. the little window that pops up either has the buttons in chinese characters or the blue bar at the top of the window is in Chinese. How to fix please?

Prior to MS releasing SP3, I had all updates thru and or including SP2, for Windows XP Home Edition, with the exception of IE7, OE7, MP11 and all of the Malicious Tools - all of which I disabled and remain in the online "hidden updates" folder.
