In Windows XP Professional, when I go to Volume Control> Options>
Properties> Recording. There is NO option to record from Wave out, like there
always used to be on 2000. There is only 'Line in' and 'Microphone'. How on
earth can I enable this?

This is a post to inform of my experience.
The SP3 installed via Windows Update killed all my application
softwares. I attempted to repair by repair install of WXP with SP3
slipstreamed but the problem was not cured. I restored the WXP from its

where it would print an error page saying "IllegalOperatorSequence" and we

I have this problem and it is driving me crazy. I cannot seem to find any

We have a windows XP laptop with the firewall service stopped and the remote
connect enabled that we still cannot connect or ping the system.  What else
can block an IP connection? The system works fine but we can not support it
