In Windows XP Professional, when I go to Volume Control> Options> Properties> Recording. There is NO option to record from Wave out, like there always used to be on 2000. There is only 'Line in' and 'Microphone'. How on earth can I enable this?

I have this problem and it is driving me crazy. I cannot seem to find any solution. I have windows xp home on 1 computer and windows xp pro on my laptop. This problem occurs on both these computers.

In the course of formatting a bootable system diskette in Windows XP, I noted that no mouse.com driver was included on the resulting diskette. I was rather surprised then to find no mouse.* driver on my installed XP system, nor could I find it in the Support\Tools folder

We have a windows XP laptop with the firewall service stopped and the remote connect enabled that we still cannot connect or ping the system. What else can block an IP connection? The system works fine but we can not support it remotely even with PC anywhere.
