I have a malware-virus on my machine and am unable to get rid of it. The
virus is called Windows antivirus 2008. Does anyone know how to manually get
rid of this or is there any software that is available to remove this malware?
Any information would be kindly accepted.

The title says it all, with all the things gone wrong with my system and
exhausting any avenues I can think of for a cause I believe SP3 has literally
corrupted my computer to the point that it is unstable and unusable.

I have a USB speaker and onboard sound card.
when I go into control panel/sound  I can't select the USB Device for the
