I just got my first USB printer and it seems okay. However, after I turn off the printer, everything is normal for 10-15 minutes when suddenly Windows will make the "Device Disconnect" sound for no reason. I thought I would fix this by going to Device Manager and

When I log into the system, system32 folder automatically opens. This is not causing any problem but is annoying. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks Regards

AVG removed a virus from my neighbor's XP Home laptop. Upon reboot the machine stopped with white text on a dark blue screen saying basidv32 could not be found. Same result in Safe Mode, Safe with no networking and Safe command line. He doesn't have his XP CD. It is at his home ...

Whenever I try to view files with windows explorer, it is extremely slow (greater than five minutes) to open up and display the contents of the C: drive or "my computer." This is happening with applications as well when they do a search.
