XP Home SP3 is doing the following: 1) Upon boot, there is a strange set of beeps just as the bluish "Welcome" screen appears. This does not seem to directly affect anything, but I have not seen another machine beep at this point.

Windows always assume c:\ as a music folder and it enables Artist/Album Title etc columns for view. how do I reset it? The option to customize this folder doesn't show up in the properties dialog box as its a system root.

Graphic suggests the command is working but it is not. Screenshot appears which reads "Windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this folder. What do you want Windows to do?" Options are retry, skip and cancel. How do I correct this problem?
