I have one computer that I have been upable to upgrade to SP3. I have spent about ten hours on it now and I can't solve the problem. This is one of those problems that has left me extremely frustrated, emotionally drained, and on the verge of tearing my hair out.

This morning I tried to installed a 40GB IDE disk on top of the already installed 150GB SATA one (partitioned - C:\ 30GB and D:\ 120GB). When I restarted, the system did not behave nicely.. Windows Explorer

I noticed an orange blinking light, (four blinks at a time, continuously), after turning on my computer. After restarting the comp. the orange light disappeared. I'm sure this is some kind of warning of future problems

Fujitsu-Siemens laptop running XP Media centre. When starting up, gets to blue screen (not BSOD) with "windiws starting" but never progresses. F8 - last known good configuration no better, VGA mode no different.

Hello all, do you know the fix for the problems XP SP 3 causes. The device manager screen is blank, no network connection, and my computer takes a while to load. It may be other problems but this is a start.
