get pop ups galore everywhere and windows keeps telling me that automatic
updates is turned off (i never turned it off).
I ran ad aware 2008 and removed infections.

When I try to uninstall, repair or reinstall this software I get the
following error message.

Wondering if I need the Service Pack 3 upgrade. I have Windows XP currently,
and the only upgrade I see is this one. I am not sure if should
download/install it or not. It is confusing to me. Can someone help please,
