When I have My Computer running I get down to some files and all my icons and
task bar disappear. How can I get them back without restarting the computer?

Recently upgraded from Home to Pro.  When attempting to activate I get a
problem with Out of Box Experience having to quit (send error report type
failure).
I know I can activate over the phone, but given the other post-upgrade

My brand new Dell Vostro Notebook with T7250 at 2.4 and 3gb ram running XP
Prof with SP2 has a slow response to keyboard entries: In any application,
when anything is typed on the keyboard, it is echoed after a delay of 2 to 3

I notice that my page file does not seem to be often used by XP Pro. Can I
move it safely to a large capacity USB drive? will it work? I have XP Pro,
2G Pentium 4 , 1.5G SDRAM.

I have had this happen on 3 systems within the last months.  2 were IBM
Thinkpads T61p's and one was a Dell Optiplex 745.  I am not sure what is

A friend needs me to help troubleshoot an application on his Windows
Vista machine. I have an XP machine, and both of happen to use routers

Maybe it's just bad luck but the 2 times I've tried to upgrade my computer's
ram it has not been successful.   When you receive a factory computer is the
ram matched better?  On my older HP pc I upgraded from 512 to 1GB and it
seemed to run slower.  On my current HP m9040n it has ...

I try to enter to the bios setup but it lags. If someone can help me please.

Well, I got it for Ubuntu but it isn't available for Windows XP yet. I
wonder why Linux got it first?

Whenever I turn my PC on it comes with 'Socket Error #10013  Access denied'
message. Any idea why that is the case?

hey i'm running XP Pro sp2 and anytime i start my pc it takes a really
long time to start. normally it takes 30 seconds but this time , up to
the screensaver loads then the pc stops loading for almost 3 minutes.
Then the basic startup items load and  the pc finally runs as normal.
