After establishing a VPN connection to a remote computer I clicked on view Workgroup Computers. It did not appear so I enter \\edb on the address line and was able to access the computer. I'm sure the remore computer is configured to be part of the work group.

Up until the other day I could remote into my desktop. I'm running xp pro. I checked and remote access is enabled and my user is allowed. I check and no apparently firewall is running on my desktop... though not 100%
