Uses: Windows XP +SP2, Domain Memeber;
We have a computer which is kept as a Public Viewer. Recently we added this
to Active Directory. However now we are facing a trouble where the windows XP
automatically logs off and locks it self after several minutes.

When I tried to save a document that I made a couple of changes on while
working in Microsoft Word, I got the following messages:
"Unrecoverable disk error on file ~WRL1246.tmp. The disk you are working on
has a media problem that prevents Word from using it."

folders *without opening each one*, selecting all the files and then
deleting them?

I recently changed to Gmail (Outlook 2003) and now many of my emails
say I am viewing them in Internet Zone - what on earth is this? Is

I just converted ny 200GB system drive to a 1TB drive via cloning.

For some reason I can no longer play web videos from news sites like MSNBC,
NYT, Washington Post etc.  Also can't play any Youtube videos.  Until
recently, I had this capability but now it's gone.  It happened about the
time I downloaded SP3 but I'm not sure it is related to that ...

I use to put my flash drive in and I would get a dialog that asks me what to
do.  Example... play, open... so forth.  Usually for data files on a drive,
I would select open folder.   Anyway, this does not happen anymore.  My
computer still recognizes all three of my flash drives ...

My windows XP has a minor annoyance to me that I would like to remove.
The name on the end user license aggreement is misspelled and always

After installing Windows XP SP3, Synchtoy 1.4 repeatedly crashes when
started with the ususal "SynchToy.exe has encountered a problem and needs to

Will something like this work to copy files across the network?  I have
one that is accesable through the ip address only.  When I run this, it
seems to go through instantly but does not show the results desire.

I can set the home page for all users using mmc and group policy with no
problem. Is there any way to set it for a second tab in IE7? I tried setting
up the two lines for the two URLs in IE7 settings homepage then copy and
pasting into the line in the URL field in Group Policy ...
