Last night I dowloaded a program then I deleted it. It changed my background to blue with a message saying "Warning! Spyware detected on your computer! Install a antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer".

I was working on a 2 PC Windows XP Home SP2 workgroup and I was unable to get a shared printer to print from one of the PCs. The PC hosting the printer was an older Dell Dimension desktop which could print without issues, and the other PC in the workgroup was a Dell laptop

I sent a query through the newsgroups and got a reply via email. When I clicked on the link to get the response to my query all I got was a blank page. I have tried unsucessfully to find the answer in the newsgroups without success.

I want to either kill "changed MSCONFIG post reboot warning" or forever stop all automatic changes to my startup menu in XP. I am using Spybot S&D's Tea Timer which does a good job of preventing the registry

Hi, ive got a computer thats about 3 years old right now its got 1gb DDR PC3200 im not sure whats the max i can put in it is it 2 gig or?? Ive got 512mb DDR and not sure if its ok if i put it in or not.. any suggestions??

I've defraged C hard-disk. Then I found the disk still contains some discontinuity. So I analyze it and it suggests defrag again. I've repeatedly analyzed and defrag many times.

How do I change my settings so that my file menus (i.e. "File," "Edit," "View," etc.) are expanded at all times when viewing them? I don't like having to constantly point and click on the arrow at the bottom of the menus in order to expand. Thanks!

Will someone remind me where I can find the "Powertoy" feature, if that is what it is, an addon that puts zoom in and zoom out in the mouse rightclick menu. It is too long back in time for me to remember where I perviously found it. Thanks
