Anyone know of a way to force Windows XP Explorer to always open in folder
view (i.e. like File Manager used to) rather than the alternative with File
and Folders Tasks / Other Places etc?

I have an windows xp Pro machine with an problem with the task manager
minimising when started.
The minimised icon starting the lower right hand side of the taskbar.
can not get the taskmanager to maximise.

When I perform start - turn off computer - turn off, the last panel with
the turn off options disappears but the shutdown/turn off sequence does
not start. I can then do it again and the sequence completes normally.

Started getting the "WI could not be accessed" crap, with the occasional 1601
error (which I understand is the same error).  I have done EVERY suggestion I

having normal user previledges ..have to work on the both IDs simultaneously
