I looked in Admin Tools\Component Services and when I tried to open it I got
a load of boxes coming uo saying that vfertain keys belonging to a number of
different programmes were not registered and prompting me to do it.  Should
I say yes?

I am sure this has been covered before, but I am using Outlook Express and I
do not know how to search the archives.
I have XP Pro installed with SP3 and plenty of memory, both disk and on

After a reformat and installation of XP_SP2 I have got the same problem on
two new keyboards. A new bog standard UK keyboard with the number keypad on

I'm so confused. I've just finished rebuilding an old Gateway PC. This
morning I had Windows sounds (the logon ta-da and other beeps and
boops) but audio CD's wouldn't make any sound. Playing wav files
through WMP did not do anything. I then updated the audio drivers

I have two dells both with XP.. They are not the same model.

I'm trying to reinstall Windows from my Windows XP installation DVD.
It's not working.  Windows boots from the DVD, then tells me that I
need to put the DVD in the drive -- even though it is already there.

I am attempting to get the Recovery Console and place my Windows XP CD in
the CD Drive but when I attempt to reboot its by-passing the CD and going to
