A few friends of mine have talked about partitioning a hardrive in two so
that the operating system takes one part and all other data takes the other.
They say that this way, if anything ever goes wrong with the operating
system, you can just reformat that partition and reinstall ...

I'm trying to install Windows Install Cleanup Utility.
I save it to the desktop but get error message:

I just got done with a new install of Winxp and installed
the software that came with the Dell Laptop which was
PowerDVD and Sonic Record Now and I installed a wireless
pcmcia card [Belkin].

Is there a way to print a list of the document titles that are in a given
folder?

I have read the article on num locks and did what it said, but it does not
work. After boot the num locks come on then off. What else can I do?

Running xp pro with all updates except SP3.
Using Nero 7.2 to take a video and create a DVD so I can watch it on TV.
Computer Blue Screens every time with the following message:
Message: Page_Fault_In_Nonpage_Area

Clean install of xp home (have also tried xp professional). When I insert a
cd it won't autoplay. If I open the cd in explorer and then double click on
setup.exe a hourglasss apears for a brief moment and then nothing happens.
Other exe files in my system32 directory run fine.

Is there a moderator ? Who keep this site open on the internet ?

I have both operating systems on my computer. When i boot up, it gives me a
choice on which one to boot in. My question, i usually boot up with pro so is
there a way to have the computer automatically boot with it instead of asking
me for a choice?

During boot, my wallpaper is present, however, when the desktop loads,
the wallpaper is gone and my icons sit on a blank desktop.  Any ideas why my
wallpaper doesn't show? I've tried changing it several times and the same
behavior occurs.

Does windows XP keep a log if a specific CD or DVD is opened? I need to learn
