I have a home wireless network, a "standard" one:  the router is attached to
a desktop (XP) and I have a laptop (Vista) that is wireless.  I print using
printer sharing on the desktop, so I know the laptop "sees" the desktop.

everytime i try to go into my microsoft , a screen comes up says
installing windows, then another screen says, make sure the patch package is
installed correctly.

What is the minimal file set that would form what Microsoft calls
the "System" partition (i.e. the Primary partition marked "active"
which can boot load XP from another partition)?  I know that
ntldr, boot.ini, and ntdetect.com are needed.  But what else?

When I run defrag in windows XP SP3 i quits after a few sec with this

I've just updated one of my WinXP systems to SP3. Now when it starts up I

On two computers here (my office) both with Zone Alarm and installed newest
upates from MS
lost internet connectivity, the solution so far is to disable ZA or
