A friend gave me an older HP tower. The only thing I know about it is that
it has XP on board. When I attempt to boot it, it gives me three sets of
three beeps, followed by a single beep and nothing else happens. Can someone
shed some light on this?

I tried to delete my cookies with several methods. Impossible to delete them.
They stay there in the temporary internet folder. Do I have a virus or

Silverlight wants to update but can not find silverlight.msi, so it quits.
Silverlight version 1 shows in add remove programs, but can not be

Hi - I recently deleted Spybot Search & Destroy via the control panel and
replaced with Ad-Aware Anniversary Edition which I decided to try out.
Everything seems OK however, right clicking on a file or folder, the drop
down menu still has 'Scan using Spybot&Destroy' on it as well ...

My disk that was keeping the system partiton started failing on me to
the point that now I can't even get whole the way to Windows. It

Every time I print a printer icon shows in the system tray. I don't
hide system tray icons so I know what's going on there. The icon won't
