I have an MS wireless laser 6000 v2 keyboard.
The audio volume control does not work.
When I press it the screen control image does not show nor does the volume
change.

My DVD drive suddenly stopped reading DVD disks it does however still have no
trouble reading CD,s.
i,m running XP pro on an IBM netvista pentium 2.4g
Does anone have any idea why this happend ?

What am I missing on System Restore. There are partitions that I do not

I started a "move" operation to a remote Computer in WinExplorer by dragging a local folder with files inside onto
a shared folder in "My Network Places". This worked successfully without problems hundred times before.
However this time the folder+files were moved into local folder

When I boot up Windows XP, it gets to showing the desktop, but the a
Dos window pops up that tells me it's running cmd.exe from the sys32
directory , before disappearing again. I don't recall it ever doing
this before, so is it normal, but I've never noticed before?

I cant run system restore, It is saying "System restore is not able to

I am geting the boot up error missing or corrupt config system. I am
attempting to follow the instructions to restore a corrupt registry. When I
