When trying to access Remote Assistance, I keep getting this message in a
dialog box
"A Program Could Not Start. Please try again"
I tried turning off the fire wall, sb s&d. Made sure everything was turned

Monitor and 'puter have been going into and out of standby fine for years.  
Now, after standby, I get the message "Check system cable" and nothing
(tapping keys, moving and clicking mouse, cursing) I do will get either the
monitor or puter going again except rebooting.

My XP laptop has become slower and slower to start up. I ran Microsoft
Bootvis, defragged, , minimized programs that run on startup, ran virus,
adware and spyware scans and the start time has improved a little. The
exception is that the networking takes several minutes to start ...

I'm using XP SP3, on a Dell desktop that's been installed and running
essentially flawlessly for a few years.

I recently installed the eastern asian languages and then went to the
advanced tab but when I try to change the non-unicode settings to Chinese
(PRC), it gives me an error stating that "Setup is unable to install the
chosen locale. Please contact your System Administrator."

I am writing a program that does a number of different scans for a user. The
goal of the program is to make troubleshooting on forums easier.
Aside from the scans it is currently doing I also want to let the program

Is there a way to view thumbnails as images instead of as icons when doing
R-click>Explore on a .zip file? I am, of course, already in Thumbnail view.

Problem: Setup File for Brother Printer Driver Will Not Run

If I try to send a message with winpopup it only works intermittently:
C:\Documents and Settings\>net send myserver foobar
An error occurred while sending a message to MYSERVER.
The message alias could not be found on the network.

I have a PC user on Windows XP with Outlook 2003. Sometimes when he receives
an attachment from one particular user who is using a MAC that contains a JPG
attachment, Windows printer & fax viewer cannot read the file - states that
no preview is found.
