Where can I get a Virtual Hard Disk of Windows XP with IE6 installed for the
purpose of testing website compatability with older browsers? Obviously I
need one that doesn't require activation all the time.

My XP Pro clock dialog uses tick.usno.navy.mil to synch, but it looks like
it does this about once a week. I don't see anyway to change that. Is there?

Well, I fixed the kids computer, now its my turn.

My wife this morning presented me with her laptop (not a tablet) with a
normal-looking screen rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise (the top of her
windows) was to the left sift of the screen.....

I'm running Win XP Media CenterEd. Ver 2002 SP2.  When I shut the computer
down a notice appears stating that Explorer.exe is still running.  I have
to click "end now" for it to stop, and allow Win to close .
How can I correct this situation?

You know how sometimes after updating or installing a program, there is a
need to restart?
According to what I'm told, it's really only Windows that needs to be
restarted, not DOS.  Restarting just Windows is faster than a total restart.

I'm asking for a freind because she cant see the fonts good enuff to even
type or see whats said. Anyways all her fonts have gone so faded out that she
can not read them, she has tryed changing fonts and going bold but nothing
